SO... Let me tell you all the going on the last week or so before this. We had a big ice storm and we got things ready for the in case this happens we will be ready. Well Early Tuesday morning. IT happened. We lost power at about 6:00 in the morning. So i started to get things ready thinking we would be going over to my sister in laws house. When Hailey starts to get sick to her stomach. She has not been sick like that in a long time. So why not that day she was. SO we packed up and went over there. Hailey went with daddy to try to get to the doctors they were closed because of no lights. So she stayed with Will for a little bit, then they came to the house. We had Daryl, Leigh, Mary-Beth, Katie, Baby D, Claire, Me, Madyson, Hailey, Thomas, Will, Big Pop and Little Betty. ALL of us stayed at Daryl's house for the day. We found out that later that day we got our power back. So we packed up and went home. Man it felt so good to be back to our home. So we went to bed in our beds to wake up at 4:00 to hear our lights and heat stop working. It stayed warm in our house until about 1:00 in the afternoon. SO we stayed home until it was to cold. YES we packed up again and went to Daryl's house. we stayed there and played games with the kids, and did what we could to keep the kids happy. WE found out that our power came back on at about 5:30 that night. SO yes we packed up and went home again. We didn't know what was going to happen. We never lost power for hours at a time. Just mins here and mins there. That I can live with. Will and I feel very lucky with how this turned out for us because we have had power ever since then. Other people just got it back this week. School has been closed because lots of schools just got power back but then the heat broke, or the pipes broke. SO we are cleaning up things here. School is starting back up tomorrow Thursday .The girls are so happy to be going back.
WE have a new Hallmark in our family. John and Nancy had Savannah Grace Monday Feb 2. She is so pretty that makes the grand kids for Daryl and Betty 8 kids in 7 years. (as of March when Madyson and Mary-Beth turn 7). So we have been busy here. Hope you all have a great night more to come.
